These two trios of six were published originally in two groups of three by Sieber and by Andre around 1795/1796. The title of the original edition …reads “Trois TRIOS Concertants pour Flûte, Clarinette et Basson par F. DEVIENNE 11”. They were also published in an arrangement for flute, violin and cello. The source document for this edition is a copy of the original publication in the Kungliga Musikaliska Akademiens Bibliotek in Stockholm.
