Mark Goddard’s Sonatina for Flute and Piano was composed in London and premiered by the flautist Robert Winn at the Royal Academy of Music in 1979. I Tense, building from the very depths of the piano.
II Evocative, using slow glissandi in the bottom octave of the flute.
III A naughty bi-tonal rondo. Duration: 7 – 8 minutes. First published in 1990 by Spartan Press (SP101).
