Although the Arban Lite method is primarily designed for trombone, these exercises can be played by any bass brass instrument. This book complements any tutor book, by consolidating areas which tutor books do not have room to cover. Of particular note, is the way each section starts with very simple exercises, providing a large amount of material for complete beginners, which is simply unavailable elsewhere.

The famous ‘Arban Method’ is hugely popular for any player above grade 5 standard, but there is nothing comparable for beginners. Arban Lite is far more comprehensive than anything else on the market and covers all areas of technique and musicianship which any pupil will encounter up to grade 5, and covering areas which pupils previously had to buy a multitude of separate books.
